What is BOSH SO2 Training?

Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) for Safety Officer 2 (SO2) Training is a mandatory safety training program in the Philippines, required under DOLE Department Order No. 198, series of 2018.

It is designed for individuals assigned as Safety Officer 2 (SO2) in workplaces classified as low-risk (with 10-50 workers) or medium-risk (with fewer than 50 workers).

This training is essential for ensuring compliance with Republic Act 11058 and the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Certification and Compliance:

Can I use COSH certificate for CPD?

Definitely, yes. There are two ways to earn CPD points, it’s either through a self-directed learning or through a direct CPD points issued by PRC. Either way, you can make use of the points issued by the PRC with 40 hours BOSH SO2 training duration.
