Kent N. Janaban has been appointed as the new CEO and President of Petrosphere Incorporated, a one-stop-shop training, review and consultancy company based in the Philippines, and at the same time, the only safety training provider accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment Occupational Safety and Health Center (DOLE OSHC) in Palawan.
Prior to his appointment, he has been supporting Petrosphere Incorporated as business development officer and trainer since 2017.
“This will be another exciting and challenging opportunity for me to lead the company together the employees and staff, and in meeting its goals and objectives. In the last nine years, Petrosphere has traversed through a lot of obstacles, but it proven itself although out these years. There’s a lot more to do, but we are aiming for highly sustainable and self-sufficient operations after we experienced the onslaught of COVID-19 pandemic,” said Arch. Janaban.
A licensed architect, Janaban, 26, is currently finishing his degree in Master of Science in Environmental Management in Palawan State University. He is also a faculty member in the Architecture Department of the same university.
Arch. Janaban is also the current publisher and president of Alpha Eight Publishing, which publishes Palawan Daily News, a multimedia company in Puerto Princesa City.
In July 1, Arch. Janaban replaced Engr. Harthwell Capistrano who served as the CEO and President since the start-up of the Company in 2013. Engr. Capistrano is a DOLE-accredited OSH Consultant, and the Board Chairman of the Company.
