Petrosphere Incorporated proudly marks the successful conduct of the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Training on April 28, 2025, at Coron District Hospital, reinforcing our commitment to providing high-quality, accessible, and practical life-saving education to healthcare professionals in Palawan
This comprehensive training program was designed to equip medical staff with advanced emergency response competencies through a blended learning approach:
-
Day 1: Self-Paced e-Learning Module
Participants completed an interactive online module at their own convenience, allowing them to grasp essential ACLS concepts, guidelines, and protocols through a flexible learning experience. The e-learning format ensured that each participant could study at a comfortable pace while mastering the foundational knowledge required for ACLS.

-
Day 2: Face-to-Face Hands-On Assessment
The second day focused on practical assessment and skill demonstration. Participants applied their knowledge in realistic clinical scenarios, enhancing their ability to respond confidently and effectively during cardiac emergencies. Hands-on simulations and guided practice ensured that each trainee met the required competencies.
A Dedicated Group of Healthcare Professionals
A total of 18 participants—17 dedicated nurses and the Chief of Hospital completed the training. Their enthusiasm and commitment to professional growth highlight the hospital’s strong dedication to improving patient care and emergency response capabilities.
Guided by Expert Instructors
The training was led by our ACLS Instructor, Sir Albern Burns, together with our committed HSE Officer, Sir Paul Christian Dela Cruz. Their expertise, mentorship, and hands-on guidance played a crucial role in ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for all participants.
