Young & Workers (Late Teens/Early 20’s)
• New & young workers are particularly influenced by the psychological approach.
• These workers are daring and risk takers.
• Watch supervisors & co-workers to determine what kind of behavior or work habits earn
respect in the workplace.
To demonstrate the organization’s innate concern for the health and well-being of the workers,
while at the same time, improving company profit performance, the comprehensive loss control program
should be aimed at worker’s safety and health and eliminating problems of occupational health.
Techniques in Behavior Management
1. Planning
- Forecast schedules, define objectives/procedures/polices, budgets and programs.
2. Leading
- Selecting and developing people (helping them to improve their knowledge, attitudes,
skills and habits)
- Communicating, create understanding, motivating, decision-making
3. Organizing
- Develop structure/relationship

- Correcting what is wrong
Accident Causation Theory
Many students have brought into light several issues concerning the safety measures in the
industry. Most of these studies have been carried in various fields to study the role of safety, industrial
safety, accident prevention, loss control approaches, and so on. Therefore, it may be relevant to include
some studies, which have a bearing upon safety measures in various industries as the same facilitate the
distinction of the present study from those previous ones.
